With the Queen Charlotte Sounds providing holiday makers
with spectacular coastal scenery, lots of sunshine, the
Marlborough Region is a must do on your South Island
holiday. Below are details on
how to
get
to and around Marlborough
Summer is a great time to visit this area with outdoor
activities from cycling to kayaking a must. While visiting
Picton take a cruise to
see our amazing marine wildlife, such as dolphins and seals.
You might even be able to swim with these beautiful
creatures!

If travelling here over winter and during cooler weather why
not take your family to some of the family-friendly
vineyards or the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre in
Blenheim.
Of course you can enjoy these right activities throughout
the year!
If driving from Picton to
Nelson, stop at the lovely seaside town of
Havelock and enjoy the local seafood. Or if
travelling south to
Kaikoura or
Christchurch during the summer make sure you
take your camera so that you can get some photos of
the bright pink salt fields at
Lake Grassmere. |
