The
annual rodeo at Warkworth is held on the 1st
January. This year the sun shone brightly and the
event was in full swing.
Each year families come
here to enjoy the wonderful country atmosphere, but
of course to see the brave bull riders.
Young riders can try
their hand at riding on the calves and for those
with less courage there is always the children's
sheep catching competition. Unsuccessful children
still get a lolly or two for their efforts.
