Accommodation
It's just magical
- You have finally arrived at the Coromandel
township and the kids ask what can we do now with a whine in
their voice. Do not hesitate to take them to
Driving
Creek Pottery and Railway. The train runs daily and is
safe and fun for the kids. Another feature of this area which
children will really enjoy is the
Waiau
Waterworks, which offers your family a chances to relax
laugh and play with the wonderful works which are driven by
water!
-
- While traveling throughout the
Coromandel Peninsula, take your time to visit various other
towns. In
Paeroa there is a
cafe named after the New Zealand soft drink L&P, in fact the
cafes called World Famous in New Zealand Cafe and Bar!
Accommodation
We have a full list of family-friendly

Beaches and walks
There are many beaches from Thames up to Coromandel which
run along the coast of the Firth of Thames. Most are not
suitable for swimming and care should be taken if collecting
shellfish from these areas as the tide can turn quickly and
unwary waders can be caught in the incoming tide!
