The aim of the Association is to:

a) Provide education of psoriasis about the complaint and available treatments.

b) Education of the general public to remove the undeserved social stigma attached to skin conditions.

c) Research into cause, treatment and the eventual cure for Psoriasis.

d) Exploration of psychological and social problems attached to Psoriasis.

e) Distribution of all available knowledge on Psoriasis nationwide.

f) To support sufferers, their family and associates.

g) Provide social interaction for members.

h) To assist in providing facilities for treatment.

i) Maintain contact with other Psoriasis networks outside New Zealand.
