Barnardos works within the community to provide a range of care, education
and support services for children and their families. As a not-for-profit
organisation Barnardos is dedicated to ensuring all New Zealand children and
families have access to services which are appropriate to their needs.
A
support group to help mothers with breastfeeding, through encouragement,
information and education. There are over 50 groups and 170 leaders throughout
New Zealand, giving breastfeeding support and information largely through monthly
meetings and telephone counselling on a mother-to-mother basis.
