The
association is a family support organisation for families/whanau driven
organization for people whose lives have been changed by Down Syndrome.
Their
aim is to inform and support families/whanau whose lives have been changed
by Down syndrome. They
aim to promote positive public awareness through educational and media
initiatives. The NZDSA offers new parents support through trained support
parents, coffee mornings, family events, quest speakers and individual support
and advocacy.
