Biscults
175g butter
50g icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
 
175g flour
50g custard powder

Step 1.    Preheat oven to 180oC and grease an oven tray.
Step 2.    Cream butter an icing sugar until smooth. Add sifted dry ingredients and then
               vanilla essence and mix well.
Step 3     Roll mixture into small balls and place on the greased tray and press down with a fork to flatten them.
Step 4.    Bake for 20 minutes or until golden. When cold put together with a butter filling.

Butter Filling

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon custard powder
6 tablespoons icing sugar
 
Soften butter and add to sifted icing sugar and custard powder. Mix until well combined  and smooth.
