A fathers grief
Men usually deal with grief differently to their
partners. One woman’s husband bought her a necklace with a cross, a
heart and a teddy bear for their 3 miscarriages. They later had
children. Another’s partner felt he had to be strong and not show
emotion, just support his wife. To deal with his own feelings he went
windsurfing to be able to release his grief in an acceptable
environment. She never forgave him for what she considered a frivolous
action. Communication is vital.
