With a climate that
can give us four seasons in one day, it is great to know
that throughout the country there are places to go, where
we can forget about the raincoats and have fun.
When one thinks of
indoor playgrounds we often think of places like Chipmunks.
Chipmunks have 15 indoor play areas from Whangarei to
Invercargill. They are great places for children to go
and burn up some energy.
However, not all indoor
activities need to involve running around. With cinemas throughout New Zealand you can take the kids out, sit and relax. Cinemas like Berkeley
and Hoyts
are ones that come to mind.
Being indoors doesn't
necessarily mean staying dry. Grab the kids' togs and head
off to one of the many swimming complexes around the
country. The Community
Leisure Management has pools and fitness
centres throughout New Zealand, including the Philips
Aquatic Centre in Mt Albert Auckland.
