After
driving around the gorge before you get to Mokau, the
sight of the River Run Cafe is a wonderful relief
for drivers with children. A great place to stop and
refresh all with ice creams
and milk shakes or a hot cup of coffee. What
impressed us about this cafe the most was the
service.

This cafe seems to have been around
forever. It is one of the regular cafes for the
Ponsonby mums. With a great sandpit outside at the
back of the cafe and freshly brewed coffee, the
beans are roasted on-site, it is recommended.
